WIN BIG- Valentine’s Package for 2 at the Pyramid Day Spa worth R1100!
I have something special for all of you…. 🙂
I visited the Pyramid Day Spa a while ago and loved it. See my blog post here.
I wanted to go back and find out a bit more about them. I did a mini interview with the Spa Manager, and she was kind enough to offer their Valentine’s package for 2 people, especially for a lucky reader of TravelFoodFun.
Here’s what you’ll get, for yourself + someone special. Read on to find out how…
So, what can you expect from The Pyramid Day Spa?
Some Sandtonistas who live and work in the North are afraid of the CBD. You can’t say you’re a resident of Jozi if you haven’t experienced the CBD! I promise, you’ll be on the highway the whole time and you’ll only have to drive in town for 5 minutes max.
Once you arrive, there is a secure parking with a security guard.
So you have no excuse.
The spa used to be 3 old buildings. They are now completely renovated and you can expect individual attention from the minute you walk in. They have a skin care range for EVERYONE- people on a budget, men, teenagers, and people of all ages. They stock Dermalogica, Africology, Comfort Zone and Mamma Mia (a range for pregnant women)
They’re open on weekdays between 8-7pm (how fab) and on weekends and most public holidays from 8-5pm.
What I was most pleasantly surprised by was that they offer a FREE meal with EVERY SINGLE TREATMENT over an hour. You can choose from a range of light meals and you’ll get a free tea or coffee. They even have a sushi chef, as well as a full on bar. The restaurant is warm and inviting.
So if you book a 1 hour massage, you can go an hour early- spend time in the complimentary facilities like the private ladies spa bath, sauna or steam room, have your massage, and then have lunch. That’s half your day gone already, and you’ll only have to pay the price of a 1 hour treatment.
Make sure you get a tour, ‘cos there’s a lot more to the spa than meets the eye.
They have a Rasul chamber, called the Rasul of Aah (named after the Egyptian moon God) which is fab to chill in with your man or some of your girlfriends.
The treatment begins with exfoliation and thereafter nutrient rich mud is applied to the skin. Then, aromatheraphy is introduced with steam to further relax you. That’s followed by a warm rain shower to wash the mud off. Sounds heavenly, right! This is included in the package you’ll be winning 🙂
They also have a gorg garden, complete with a bed for you to relax on 🙂
-
You must book your spa treatment before the end of March.
-
Once the winner is announced on the blog, you will have until 10am Monday 27 February to send me your details, else we will draw another winner 🙁

One entry on the blog, and one entry on Twitter per person.
