I would have to say the most champagne worthy moment recently had to be the day I found out that my best friend got into Medical school and my Husband passed his honors in education with a distinction and got into masters. That very same week, my sister in law and brother in law came back from a year long absence in Alaska. Three amazing things in one day, all worthy celebratory moments with people I love is totally champagne toast worthy moments. I love celebrating others good fortune because what makes them happy, makes me happy and that’s a very good reason to celebrate in life.

I realise this might sound cheesy, but my *most* champagne toast moment was when I got married to my husband, best friend, lover and just all round the best companion EVER! We’re celebrating our 6 year anniversary this month and what better way to “klink at” the Bubbles Festival!

8 years after matriculating, after giving up several times due to financial constraints, after sobbing hard to my parents telling them I just cannot do part-time studies anymore… in December 2012 I called my parents at 10pm from 600kms away and uttered the words ” I’ve passed my final three subjects Mum & Pap, I HAVE A DEGREE”. I proceeded to cry and pray for the next hour following that phone call and still choke up when I think about it. I would have loved to celebrate with my parents after that with a glass of champagne in hand…

This Valentine’s day when my hubby and I celebrated 15 years together. We are still madly in love and best friends. We did pop champagne, it is a huge milestone for us seeing that we had many obstacles to cross to gte here.

When I booked my ticket to NYC. It’s been a big dream of mine and I finally booked it last week. I plan to be toasting every day whilst lapping up all of this cities sights. BUT in order to do this, I need to know my champagne, so winning these tickets would be a great way to brush up my knowledge 🙂

Definately when I found out that we won a trip to NYC, coming up in April. With hubby being unemployed for a few months now. Its just what we need to just escape for a bit.

The moment I held my son in my arms. It was a dream come true and a blessing to give birth to a healthy baby after a difficult pregnancy. Definitely a moment to celebrate with a glass of bubbly if it was allowed in hospital!

To be honest I have a few..but let me highlight the important ones 🙂
1. The day I met my husband for the first time.. That day changed my life forever!
2. The day I married my husband, best friend and business partner. What more could I ask for right?
3. The day I found out I was pregnant. Can’t really drink alcohol while pregnant but any toast would do! Finding out a little human is growing inside me, was thee best feeling ever!
4. The day I met my princess. Looking into her big black eyes made me extremely emotionally and happy!
These are the occasions where I would do a toast and celebrate every year! I’m truly blessed to have such an amazing family.

After spending practically all my life being unhappy from being serially single, I finally met someone who loves me unconditionally. My *most* champagne toast worthy moment was when he gave me the romantic proposal I’ve been dreaming about. I wake up every morning with a smile on my face knowing that I’ll be this at least this happy every day for the rest of my life. If I could, I’d have champagne every morning to celebrate that 😉

Ooooh weee, that had to be the moment my boyfriend popped the question .. I truly was not expecting it, and then suddenly, in the middle of a romantic picnic, he get’s down on one knee, with the most sincere look in his eye, tells me that there is no one in this whole world he would rather grow old with than with me .. I never imagined to be the kind of person to cry .. but I balled my eyes out .. definitely my champagne worthy moment ..

MY *most* toast worthy experience has to be moving into my own place and buying a car at the age of 22, only in my second year of working with a completed honours degree. It feels great to be a young ambitious hard working lady! Bottoms up 🙂 Salute to all the ladies above, you have achieved a lot! xx

HAS to be the day I moved in to my very own place, by myself. It was a tiny, magical, one bedroomed apartment on the top floor on the top of Northcliff hill, and the view was spectacular. I’ll never forget standing on the balcony, watching the sun set, and toasting to my first real act of independence.

My most champagne worthy moment this year was when my best friend got engaged. I’d predicted it was going to happen, but was still a little surprised when it did. I was so happy for her. My champagne moment was when we could start planning the wedding of her dreams!

Everyday should be a champagne moment! The more you celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. I raise my glass to today celebrating the morning sun in Jozi and the glorious traffic for two hours on the way to work because i can celebrate the job I get to do, the car that I have and the safe travelling!

There are so many moments! Top 3 would have to be the day my best friend asked me to marry him, the day my 3 kids were born (non alcoholic off course 😉 andevery day for that matter! I always seem to find a good reason to pop a bottle or 2 over the weekends!
